Why it is essential to protect forests

Forests generate a large part of the oxygen produced on land; the process of photosynthesis, by absorbing CO2, actively helps to combat global warming and protect the balance on which life on Earth depends.
Forests also constitute the habitat for most terrestrial fauna and plant species. Not to mention all the human communities and indigenous populations whose culture and very subsistence often depend on the health of forests.

The FSC® logo on products made from forest-based materials, such as our packaging, ensures they have been produced in compliance with strict standards, protecting the world's forests and the ecosystems that depend on them, and respecting local communities and workers' rights. The Forest Stewardship Council® is an international NGO, founded over 25 years ago, that promotes responsible forest management, and FSC® certification is the world's most credible solution for healthy and resilient forests, for everyone, forever.

That's why choosing products packaged in FSC-certified packs^®, supporting responsible forest management, and protecting biodiversity and ecosystem services for future generations.
This commitment is already bearing fruit: according to the FAO report "The State of the World's Forests" 2022, efforts to restore degraded ecosystems have led to an average increase in biodiversity of 44% and ecosystem services of 25%.
