– The Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro reaffirms its commitment to development and consolidation, demonstrating significant growth in membership, production, and assets over the 2024–2026 three-year period.

The figures presented at the 2025 Financial Statement Meeting attest to the Consorzio's robust and well-structured expansion. Over the last three years, under President Sartori's leadership, the number of members has grown by over 40%, and the cultivated area by more than 30%.Even more impressively, compared to the 2025 harvest season, the Consorzio secured new share capital subscriptions for over 1 million quintals, equivalent to more than 7 million euros. These significant figures underscore asset consolidation and affirm members' confidence in the shared project and its long-term prospects.

These results were also achieved thanks to the payments for 2025 tomatoes, with the final price for integrated production tomatoes, including bonuses distributed to members, being significantly higher than the market price.

Significant developments have also been made in production diversification and innovation, as evidenced by the growth of the basil supply chain, now in its second year. The Consorzio has expanded cultivated areas and doubled its production capacity thanks to the new processing line in Fontanellato, setting a 2026 processing target of 50,000 quintals.

“These figures represent much more than simple economic indicators: they tell a story of a journey built together, day after day, with seriousness, transparency, and shared goals,” stated the President of the Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro, Marco Sartori. “We are proud of the results achieved, and I want to express my sincere gratitude to all our members and collaborators who, with trust, commitment, and professionalism, make this growth possible, overcoming the many difficulties encountered, including climate change and the rising costs of energy and raw materials. Our supply chain continues to be a benchmark for the region and for the entire sector,” he concluded, “which is why we move forward with determination and commitment.”

“The development path of recent years is the result of great teamwork, careful planning, and a forward-looking vision,” emphasized the Director of the Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro, Davide Rocca - We have expanded our supply basin, relocating our crops to mitigate climate risk. We have invested in growth, innovation, and sustainability; we have developed our third supply chain, basil, alongside the historical pea and industrial tomato supply chains. We are convinced that basil also represents a significant opportunity for growth and production diversification for our members, who are the driving force of our entire supply chain and our greatest asset. To them, we guarantee not only assistance during cultivation and harvesting but also a range of additional services that truly make a difference. All these strategic choices are proving successful and will continue to guide our future development.”

The growth trajectory of the Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro thus confirms a cooperative model capable of combining economic development, agricultural innovation, and the valorization of members' work, with an increasing focus on quality, sustainability, and the creation of shared value throughout the supply chain.
