Transplant schedule

Choice of varieties and collective purchase of seed, delivery to the nursery for planting in greenhouses and growing seedlings;

Field cultivation

Delivery of seedlings to farms for transplantation and cultivation in the field, definition of defense programs, agronomic and documentary assistance, pre-harvest analysis.

Contribution

Field harvest and delivery, evaluation of the tomato at the Casalasco Group's processing plants.

The numerous activities that precede the award are carried out by the technicians of the Agronomic Office of the Casalasco Tomato Consortium. Technicians work daily in direct contact with farmers, with whom they have consolidated relationships of knowledge and trust, and play a role that goes beyond mere technical support for tomato cultivation, but becomes real management consultancy for farms. In fact, the members are assisted and supported in the strategic choices for the management of their companies.

The Casalasco del Pomodoro Consortium, through its technicians, provides members with the following services:

Technical assistance

Continuous technical assistance with periodic field visits during the cultivation of tomatoes, peas and basil to ensure high yields and improvements in terms of environmental sustainability, safety, ethics, quality, traceability and efficiency;

Certifications

Support in preparing documentation for certifications (100% made in Italy, no GMOs, QC and SQNPI, ISO 22005, GLOBALG.A.P., GLOBALG.A.P. GRASP, Organic);

Formation

Organization of training courses on standard requirements, on good agronomic practices, on health and safety at work, for technical updates

Insurance coverage

Agreements for insurance coverage of shareholders' agricultural products under economic conditions that improve compared to the market and support in the management of any claims;
