The President of the Senate visits the Consortium's stand in New York
The President of the Senate, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, took part in the opening ceremony of the Italy Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York.
President Casellati then spent time at the stand of the Casalasco Tomato Consortium where she met the Consortium's General Manager, who is also the President of Pomì USA Inc, Costantino Vaia.
The second highest-ranking official in the State spoke clearly in support of authentic Italian products, of which Pomì, a historic brand of the Casalasco Consortium, is the most important representative in the tomato preserve category, being the leading Italian brand in the USA, distributed in over twenty thousand retail locations.
