The Casalasco del Pomodoro Consortium recently completed the refresher course on the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED), held at its Rivarolo del Re headquarters by trainers from the Italian Red Cross of Casalmaggiore.

Casalasco, which had already voluntarily purchased 3 defibrillators in previous years, has simultaneously trained internal staff (33 employees) in the use of the life-saving device, because timely intervention in the event of cardiac arrest is a crucial factor.

Casalasco's defibrillators, for prompt location, are registered with public health Emergency/Urgency Operations Centers and are therefore available for potential first aid interventions even outside the company.

The social responsibility of the Casalasco del Pomodoro Consortium is therefore not just a slogan, but a true corporate pillar that is reflected not only towards its members and employees but also towards the local community and the wider public.
