Casalasco Group concluded its 2025 tomato campaign with nearly 800,000 tons of processed product, confirming its leadership in Italy and its prominent role internationally. This significant achievement, reached despite a year marked by strong climatic instability, demonstrates the robustness of Casalasco's organizational model and the strength of its integrated supply chain, capable of combining quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

The campaign started early, with good yields and a high Brix level. High early summer temperatures negatively impacted the flowering of intermediate transplants, but the resilience of the producer members and the readiness of the industrial organization allowed for recovery in the second half of September, thanks also to late transplants that balanced the losses caused by abundant rainfall in the central-eastern basin.

"This result is, first and foremost, the fruit of the commitment and expertise of our agricultural component, which, even in a complex year, demonstrated how crucial the strength of cooperation and field experience are in ensuring quality and continuity," comments the President of Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro and Casalasco SpA Marco Sartori -. In 2025, the members ofOP Casalasco achieved an average yield of 730 quintals per hectare, also benefiting from insurance coverage for rain damage, demonstrating the attention paid to protecting agricultural income and the economic sustainability of the supply chain."

Overall, a very positive result, stemming from the synergy between the agricultural and industrial components that characterizes the Casalasco model, in a context that saw a generalized decline in production in Northern Italy of about 13%

“Once again,” emphasizes Costantino Vaia, CEO of Casalasco SpA, “our integrated supply chain has demonstrated its ability to react promptly and professionally to the challenges posed by climate change. The quality of our product, the efficiency of our facilities, and our know-how were decisive in transforming a complex season into a valuable outcome. This achievement confirms Casalasco as a leader in the production and processing of industrial tomatoes in Italy and among the main international players. Furthermore, thanks to the expertise and commitment of all our people, we continue to grow, keeping sustainability, innovation, and the promotion of 'Made in Italy' worldwide at the forefront.”
