This morning, paralympic athlete Andrea Devicenzi's new endeavor, a cycling tour of Iceland, was presented at the Casalasco SPA headquarters.

On the morning of Thursday, June 23rd, a press conference was held at the headquarters of Casalasco Società Agricola Spa in Rivarolo del Re to present paralympic athlete Andrea Devicenzi's new endeavor, which Casalasco is sponsoring with its Pomì brand.
Casalasco's CEO, Costantino Vaia, opened the press conference.
With over two thousand kilometers to cover on his bike, 21 stages, and approximately 15,000 meters of elevation gain to overcome, the challenge the athlete will undertake from July 8th to 31st will see him complete the entire perimeter of Iceland, starting and finishing in the capital, Reykjavik.
This sporting endeavor aims to promote sports and their values, which are a great inspiration for facing life's difficulties and obstacles with a positive spirit, in order to overcome them. All of this is under the motto "Believe in the Impossible," which accompanies and serves as a common thread for all of Andrea Devicenzi's adventures.
“With this project,” Andrea Devicenzi himself emphasized, “after four years dedicated to journeys, all undertaken in Italy, I am returning to my great passion: extreme cycling adventures, where effort, sweat, and sacrifice merge into hours upon hours on the bike, overcoming every difficulty and every climb, one meter at a time, one pedal stroke at a time. I am happy and proud to have CONI, the Italian Paralympic Committee, and Federciclismo by my side, granting their patronage to the project. It will be a great adventure, fully documented with videos and photos, and lived out in a tent and sleeping bag. I will have two special companions supporting me with logistics and documentation for this extremely challenging journey: Simone Pinzolo and Andrea Baglio, in addition to journalist Alessandro Bocchi, who will follow us from Italy for communication purposes. I will document stories of success, resilience, overcome difficulties, and courage. I will meet Icelanders and Italians to share moments with.”
Andrea Devicenzi's adventure exploring Iceland can be followed day by day on his social media channels and official website.
