Sustainability and Italian tradition: Pomì presents new products in the USA

Pomì, the renowned brand owned by Casalasco SpA, will be one of the stars at the 68th Summer Fancy Food, held in New York from 23 to 25 June. This year, the focus is on the launch of the new, modern and eye-catching packaging design that successfully debuted in the US in early 2024. Fancy Food is therefore the ideal stage to present this novelty.

The main Pomì branded products that Casalasco will focus on at Fancy Food are the new Pomì Strained (puree) and Pomì Chopped (pulp) in the 38.8oz (1,100 grams) Family Pack, together with Pomì Tomato Passata, which has already won the prestigious Sofy Awards, an accolade bestowed by the Specialty Food Association, a partner of the organisers of Fancy Food.

Certified quality and the exclusive use of 100% Italian tomatoes grown by its members as a guarantee of origin and authenticity are the brand’s core values, bringing Italy’s true flavour to the tables of consumers around the world.

Environmental sustainability is at the heart of our mission,” emphasise the company. “Our product portfolio predominantly uses packaging made from cardboard, a natural and renewable resource. This choice allows us to significantly reduce our environmental impact in terms of CO2 emissions, confirming our commitment to a greener future. In addition, our packaging is 100% recyclable and designed for consumer convenience.”

In the United States, the Pomì brand is exclusively marketed and distributed by Pomi USA Inc., a company founded in 2009 and wholly owned by the Casalasco Group. The brand is currently present in more than 20,000 shops, particularly in the New York City Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut), Florida, South Carolina and the West Coast.
